SREM SID was founded in 1919 in the city of Sid, the westernmost municipality of Srem, located between the Danube river and the slopes of Fruška Gora in the north and the Sava River in the south.

Srem, biggest agricultural land in Serbia

The area on which Sid is built is an agricultural area, it is only an hour away by motorway to Belgrade in an exceptionally developed agricultural and livestock region, the region of Srem where 50% of the total livestock production in the Republic of Serbia is.

Black Angus

100 % quality, naturalness and the unequalled taste are the main advantages of all the Black Angus products line. To make our beef complying with the strictest consumer’s requirements, we raise the cattle without the use of antibiotics and growth hormones. Our products do not contain GMO, and all steers gain weight under comfortable and humane farming conditions- firstly on the farms and pastures, then in the specialized fattening facilities. Minimum contact with humans help our cattle grow without stress, which improves eating qualities of meat.

Simmental beef

Simmentals are bred all over the world for their high beef yields. … In crossbreeding, the Simmental has proved very successful. It provides good growth, a large frame and thus a better beef yield to its crossbred progeny. It improves the quality of the meat with white fat and excellent marbling.

  • By purchasing SREM ŠIDA, I.M. SREM ŠID Agropapuk, chooses to exclusively work only for slaughtering, cutting and packaging of beef and lamb, intended exclusively for export.

CERTIFICATS AND LICENSE

Today’s modern business means that companies and plants meet all set standards in the production of quality and health-safe products, while respecting all ecological requirements of the environment, so that I.M. SREM ŠID been introducing primarily HACCP as a key system in food safety and in practice I showed concern for the consumer.

Continuation of the system construction was supplemented by the introduction of the international standard for food safety management ISO22000.
We are particularly proud of getting HALAL certificates because we are oriented towards exporting to markets where necessary, where this type of meat preparation is used in the diet. As proof of the correctness of this certificate, the export for the Turkish market is in the quantity of 4000t, without problems on any basis.

AND M. SREM SID also has export licenses for the countries of the European Union, as well the third countries including Russian Federation, and countries in the region.

In his long history from 1919, I.M. SREM ŠID has been engaged in the production of all kinds of meat products:
permanent, semi-finished, smoked and preserved products, as well as slaughter, cutting and processing of large and small cattle.
Given that the new business trends required new investments, this giant could not continue its smooth growth and development in the existing system.
Change of ownership I.M. SREM ŠID again becomes the leader for slaughtering, cutting, processing and packing of fresh beef in all veterinary-sanitary and technical conditions for such kind of production.
Today I.M. SREM ŠID has 140 trained and qualified workers.
